An impressive site to behold! This beginner/intermediate level tour involves approximately 3 hours of kayaking and a short hike.

Enjoy the thrill of exploring the remote cypress swamps in search of one huge Cypress tree - Alabama's very own Champion Cypress. With a 27 foot base, the Champion Cypress is Alabama's largest and an amazing site to behold.

Accessible only by boat, this is a 4 hour guided tour that involves approximately 3 hours of kayaking and a reasonable hike through the swamp, which may or may not be dry. During this tour, your guide will also introduce you to the fauna and flora of the middle Delta's cypress swamps and some of the Delta's colorful history.

On this 70 minute tour you will visit Battleship Memorial Park, a military history park and museum located on the shore of Mobile Bay in Mobile, Alabama. This incredible museum has a collection of notable aircraft and museum ships including the USS Alabama, which is the winner of nine battle stars in World War II, as well as the Gato-class submarine USS Drum. 

You will also get to see a Mach 3 A-12 Blackbird super secret spy plane, the B-52 stratofortress Calamity Jane, and an original plane that was used by the Tuskegee Airmen, plus 22 other aircraft and weaponry from all branches of the military.  After we visit Battleship Memorial park, we switch from land to sea by splashing down into the Mobile River.

The tour continues sharing incredible facts about the 9th largest port in the USA, Navy defense warships being built on the Mobile River, and much more. We then come ashore in Downtown Mobile, where we will share all of the exciting things happening in the City - both new and old! We will include details of the first skyscraper in the South, how Mobile is the place to be to celebrate Mardi Gras, details on GulfQuest Maritime Interactive Museum, Mobile's beautiful Downtown Parks, and much more!

Then, it is back to the USS Alabama and another splash in Mobile Bay to enjoy the beautiful views of the USS Alabama from the water.

Explore the Battleship Memorial park in Mobile Alabama on a self-guided walking tour. Check out the historic Battleship USS Alabama, the Submarine USS Drum, tanks, artillery, and the amazing Aircraft Pavilion. The 100-acre battleship park will allow you to step back in time and see some of America's finest, battle tested ships and planes up close.

The Battleship Memorial Park is home to two National Historic Landmarks, the WWII Battleship USS Alabama and the Submarine USS Drum. Step back in time and see what life was like aboard these navy vessels.  Explore the Aircraft Pavilion, home to 28 historic aircraft and antique military vehicles. Afterwards, make your way over to the Great War exhibit, which opened in March 2016 in celebration of the 100th anniversary of WWI. Throughout the park you will see memorials honoring modern war veterans including the Fallen Hero’s 9/11 Memorial, the Korean Memorial, the Vietnam Memorial, and a monument honoring Military Service dogs. Spend your time however you desire as this self-guided tour will allow you to discover the park on your own terms.
